What is it?
Woodfordia: The Game is a street theatre game that runs for the duration of the annual Woodford Folk Festival.
In the lead up to the festival, I work as a designer for the game working with many multidisciplinary people to create a game that captures the silliness of childhood play, while experiencing a challenging and vast world.
As a volunteer crew member, I perform as an in-game character during the annual Woodford Folk Festival. The Woodford Card Game is a massive choose-your-own-adventure game with dozens of actors and hundreds of players. Players trade cards, interact with characters, and unlock the mysteries of Woodfordia.
I am primarily involved with:
– Creating “ARG’s” that run throughout the game, involving the design and creation of complex puzzles, character interaction, and overarching story.
– Designing mechanics and interactions that players will be experiencing for the duration of the game.
